Hi am Carina. Welcome to Veggie Gourmet Kitchen – I am happy that you found your way to my little blog.
Since I decided in my vacation to go vegan, a lot of people asked me what I can eat now. I know that it is hard for most people to imagine how this lifestyle looks like since most dishes focus on meat and/or at least diary. In order to prove that I don’t rely on carrot sticks with hummus now (although I really like that :) ) I figured it is a good idea to revivify my blog.
I plan to post various dishes that focus on plant based-cuisine. I will share my discoveries, experiments and favourite recipes from various blogs as well as from my friends and family with you. Sometimes it will be just a great breakfast I threw together, sometimes it will be an inspiration for a vegan holiday treatment.
I would be glad if my blog inspires a few people to cook more by themselfes (this would already be a big achievment :)) and involve more plant based food into their daily diet. I aim to post only recipes that have been approved by meat-eating people since I don’t like food that tastes ‘healthy’ myself.
